How to develop an iOS app- Journal
Working on a product is challenging. It required lots of commitment and, in most cases, technical knowledge and learning. A few days ago I decided to re-create Secret Stache, one of my old apps that was on the iOS App Store for almost a year. I took it off the store simply because the app was outdated and I didn't have the time to maintain it. I'm back on it and this time I would like to make a product I'm proud of. I'm starting from scratch and I think it would be a good chance to me to document all my steps. It will be a side project for me, so I will try keeping it fairly simple. I won't be posting lots of technical details so it won't be a tutorial on how to create an app like this. However, I would like to show how an app gets created and the whole process that is involved. I'm using Toggl to keep track of my hours and each time I post something here, I will include hours I've spend on it so far. I'd love to hear comments, feedback and thoughts throughout the process, so if you have anything to say, please tweet to @strangeflock or drop me a line personally at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here are all the entries that I did so far:
